Traditional Floral from Japan, Vintage Kimono Silk Chirimen Crepe Print By the Yard #832

Liquid drape, light, supple and flowy classic vintage Chirimen Crepe silk with jubilant flowers throughout the bolt. The print is beautifully executed and the colors aren't bright-bright, but no pastel either; somewhere in between.  The background: blended horizontal bands of cream alternating with pale cool gray.  The 'waves' are metallic gold.  Chirimen 'rivulets' add crepe texture and drape. It has no shine and dry hand.  14" wide, 29" repeat, and sold by the full yard; we'll cut yours in one piece from the never-used, excellent condition vintage bolt. 100% Silk. Japan.
