Midnight Indigo, 100% Wool from Japan, Machine Washed and Dried Set of 4 PIECES various sizes. #834

Blues and black, 100% wool. The color, to us, reads as dark midnight indigo blue. The weave creates a windowpane/grid pattern. Curious about washing dark colors of vintage wool from Japan, we machine washed and dried (cool/cool) these pieces from a disassembled kimono with a tiny mold spot. Result: the color is just as deep, maybe even deeper; no dye transfer. It closed up, got a bit fluffier, less flat, less smooth, shrunk from 30" wide to about 28" wide, and a small gray mold spot is long gone. Still wooly (our sensitive skin says scratchy)....and very beautiful. Mid-weight, light for wool, with both sides just the same. There are four pieces;  One piece 13" x 31", one piece 28" x 22", two pieces 28" x 31". The last photo shows all 4 pieces. They weigh about 13 ounces.  Order "1" for the set of 4. 100% vintage wool from Japan.
