Dappled Sienna Leaves Vintage Kimono Silk Crepe from Japan, By the Yard #835

Like rain, autumn leaves, sunlight and red clay.  Thin, light, supple, flowy and drapey, 100% silk with a slight crepe texture but still very smooth. No shine or body.   The backis mostly the sienna color and white, (the base silk), with mottling, but no leaves.  14" wide and sold by the full yard; yours will be in one piece from the excellent condition bolt.  100% Silk. Japan. 

Interesting note: This bolt is probably from a kimono shop, who had it for sale in the  1970's. The original 50,000 yen price tag for the bolt, would be about $333.00 USD now.
