Topo Lightning, Steel Blue-Gray Ikat Vintage Kimono Silk from Japan By the Yard #561

Grays and blues woven to create a steel-gray-blue intricate ikat. This silk is thin, light and soft with a bit of body, some texture from different thicknesses of silk yarn, and no drape. It has a bit of a matte, cottony feel, not at all sleek or shiny. A true ikat, back and front are just the same. It's very much like many Yuki Tsumugi handwoven silks we've seen, but there are no tags. 14" wide and sold by the full yard, yours will be in one piece cut from the never-used, excellent condition bolt. 100% Silk. Japan.
