Solid Navy Thin, Light Linen-Like Kimono Wool/Hemp/Synthetic Blend from Japan By the Yard #541

Deep indigo blue color, 38% Wool, 20% Nylon, 24% Acrylic, 18% Hemp. (Per the last photo).  Light and crisp, soft, a bit sheer, with body. It's quite thin, with a thin, soft cotton or linen-like feel. We wouldn't have guessed synthetic, but being from Japan it may be a higher end synthetic.  Woven with different dark blues and grayish blues, with subtle, mostly lighter, slubs, adding to the linen effect.  Probably designed for a summer men's kimono, it's 15" wide, not the typical 14" wide.  Cut and sold by the full yard; we'll cut yours in one piece from the never used bolt. Excellent condition.  Probably vintage. Japan.
