Indigo so dark it's probably cross-woven with black, and is slubby and textured.  Silvery gray 'windows' about 1-1/4" to 2" wide and about 5" to 8" long, with small red-orange and indigo shapes in rows appear through the bolt. No two windows will match, as you can see, we'd say it's clearly handwoven. It's mid-weight, fairly thin, quite soft and supple, possibly older than 1970's. The variations and imperfections in the ikat shapes make it seem a bit rustic but the condition is fine. It's been stored folded not rolled, so there are creases across the width. A true ikat, both sides are just the same. 14" wide and sold by the full yard, we'll cut yours in one piece from the never-used bolt. 100% Silk. Japan.
