Exceptional Bright Orange Floral Fukureori Kimono Silk Pieces, 14" x 26" #3806

Art silk with layers of Japanese matelasse in the weave, known there as Fukureori; the effect seems quilted. Beneath them is a vibrant, saturated tie-dye probably done by hand, with bright oranges, red-oranges, olives and golds. It's a  bit drapey and has body and a bit of crispness. Very textured from the fukureori flower petals. Mid-light-weight, vintage kimono silk from Japan in perfect condition.  This is the last piece we have from this kimono.
