Red Fancy Plaid Yarn-Dyed Vintage Kimono Silk Blend? from Japan, By the Yard #314

Shades of red, yellow, blue and white, all in the weave, not a print. It's thin and light, smooth and sleek, with a bit of shine and slight drape. We're guessing it's a blend of mostly silk, but with some synthetic, too; it doesn't hold a crease for very long after being crushed and makes a bit more noise when touched than silk usually does. But the fringe does feel very natural, so we're not sure. It's tightly woven and seems like a good quality fabric. Both sides are the same.  14" wide and sold by the full yard. We'll cut yours in one piece from the never used, excellent condition vintage bolt from Japan.
