Full Bolt Navy Vintage Silk Satin with White/Silver "Lace" Embroidery in Two Areas, 9.5 yards Kimono Silk from Japan #215

There are two embroidered areas, with 6.6 yards of lustrous, liquid drape, solid navy silk satin in between. This silk satin is thin and light, sleek and smooth, soft, flowy and supple, with sheen on the front and not much on the back. It's deep navy, not as bright as some of the photos - the last photo is closest. The silk embroidery has a fine sheen, has some dimension and 'heft', but is soft, lustrous and stunning. It looks like silvery white lace, not at all yellowish or blueish, and high contrast with the blue. (Sometimes the most beautiful fabrics are the most camera-shy). This is for the whole 9.5 yard bolt. It is vintage kimono silk from Japan, never used and there are some spots on the reverse side of the embroidery; so we'd say pretty good condition. 100% Silk. Here is how the length of the roughly 9-1/2 yard bolt lays out:  The first approximately 26" is solid navy satin, then 10" embroidery (the one almost centered across the width, in the first photo), then 6-2/3 yards solid navy satin, then the 14" long embroidery that is on the selvedge, then 1-2/3 yards solid navy satin.
