Dark Pink Plum Pinwheels Vintage Kimono Silk Piece from Japan 14" x 60" #5400

Three shades of plum/purple/raspberry, plus black and white, in a jubilant vintage kimono silk print from Japan. The base silk has a jaquard of spots, adding a subtle dotty sheen throughout.  The silk print is mid-lightweight, soft and smooth, with a bit of body and medium drape. The back is similar; much of the color shows through but not as sharp. These are pieces from a kimono, probably decades old, that has been taken apart. There may be a spots from its former life as a beloved kimono, as seen in the last photo, but overall this silk is in excellent vintage condition. 100% Silk.  Japan. Sold per 14" x 60" piece.
