Wild Iris and Rain, Lustrous Kimono Silk Print from Japan, By the Yard #132

Bright autumnal tones with purple, blue, green and white iris blossoms. The print is perfectly executed with fine white outlines. The base silk is a jacquard with tiny speckles, like raindrops in the iris, adding shiny droplets and depth to the print. Lightweight, thin, soft, supple, flowy, drapey, lustrous, we almost want to say satiny, and smooth. The back is mostly the white with jacquard raindrops more evident as in the last two photos.  14" wide and sold by the full yard  -  we'll cut yours in a continuous piece from the excellent condition, never-used, possibly newer than vintage, bolt. 100% Silk.
