OUTLET ITEM, Ice-Blue-White with Ikat Birds Vintage Kimono Silk from Japan By the Yard #109

Pale blue woven with pearly white in a slubby, raw-silk-dupioni-like weave, with ikat shapes swerving from side to side through the bolt:  pairs of blue birds, blue currents and an orange, blue and green design closer to the outer edges before it waves back again. Thin and mid-lightweight, soft, textured and slubby, with no shine. Gorgeous!  It has a bit of body.  22" repeat. A true, difficult-to-weave ikat, both sides are the same. There are minor light spots from storage, see chopsticks. We still think it's more than worth the outlet price. 14" wide and sold by the full yard, yours will be cut in a continuous piece from never used bolt.  100% Silk. Age unknown. Japan.
