Geometry Indigo, Midnight Navy/Black Oshima Kimono Silk Tsumugi from Japan By the Yard, #34

Interlocking squares, rectangles, some pure black. Blue and black are the only two colors, and they combine to read deep, nearly black midnight and rich true black. It's an incredibly intricate, difficult weave with so much detail on a very fine silk. A true ikat, both sides are just the same.  It's soft, thin, smooth, light, a bit crisp. It has body and no drape. True certified hand-woven Oshima Tsumugi, plant and mud dyed, with labels indicating as such.  A beloved, lustrous, heavenly to wear, increasingly rare Oshima Tsumugi.

14" wide, sold by the full yard and we'll cut yours as one piece from the never used, excellent condition vintage bolt.  100% Silk. Japan.
