Sleek, soft and smooth, with the pattern all done in a weave similar to jacquard.  The design comes through with sheen and glow, slightly different from front to back. Bold strong colors. When crushed, it bounces back to smooth pretty quickly. Light and thin, with shine and body and not much drape, we're guessing it's all or mostly poly, not hand woven and possibly not even made in Japan. Though we bought it from Japan, we're told that Korea used to make kimono fabrics...?   14" wide, sold by the full yard. We'll cut yours in one continuous piece from the excellent condition, unused bolt.  Easy-care kimono jacket, or ?
