Pinks + Raisin Feather Stripe Ikat, Lightweight Cotton Handloom from India, By the Yard #TK-22

100% cotton from India in the same fabric and weave as the blue one we have in another listing. True double ikat in bright dark pink and raisin-dark purple, on a background of lighter but still intense pink background. Thin and light, not a tight weave, much lighter in weight than quilting cotton, about 2.5 ounces per 42" wide yard, hand woven, as light as voile, soft and slightly see-through. There may be a few charming inconsistencies and none of the feathers or stripes will exactly match since this is a true hand woven ikat. There may be tiny knots, thread pulls or uneven lines, such as in the photo with the ruler, not flaws but fingerprints. Every irregularity is a whisper from the hands that made it. Both sides are the same. 

100% Cotton, handwoven, about 42" wide and sold by the full yard. The stripes run with the selvedges through the length, and the ikat designs are about 38" of the 42" width; the borders along the selvedge are each about 2" of just the background pink.
