Dreamy Gray Flowers on Rustic Ecru / Kikko Hexagons Antique? Kimono Ikat Silk From Japan By the Yard #140
Slubby parchment/ecru/beige, lightweight and slubby, with floating, blurry flowers in gray with a bit of white and light red. Hexagon-shapes which in Japan signify tortoise shells, or Kikko. Not a print, it's all done in the difficult ikat weave. Thin, light silk is slightly crisp, with no drape and a bit of body. The ecru color does get slightly lighter or darker in some areas, adding to its antique look - we're not sure if it's intentional or not. 14" wide, sold by the full yard and we'll cut yours in one piece from the bolt. 100% Silk. Age unknown. Japan.
The portion with fringe, labels and border is sold, but here for your reference
