Cobalt Blue Vintage Kimono WOOL Print From Japan By the Yard Faux Ikat #436

Bright-ish navy/cobalt.  The printed white, brown, gold and green diamonds and other shapes are small and about an inch apart.  Thin, light wool was designed for cool weather kimono. It has a bit of body. It's not scratchy at all; almost as soft as cotton, and about the weight of quilting cotton. The vendor said 100% wool but honestly it seems like it may have 10-20% nylon; it's so soft and supple. This is a vintage, never used, excellent condition wool bolt that happens to have a Southwest look. It's a print, not a true ikat.  14.5" wide with a pretty strand of silver in the selvedges. Sold by the full yard. We'll cut yours in one continuous piece from the never-used, excellent condition bolt.   Japan.
