SALE, 15.5" x 27" Piece, Solid Midnight Blue-Black Crossdye Vintage Yuki Tsumugi Pongee Handwoven Kimono Silk from Japan, # 786

Indigo blue and black cross woven silk blended to create deep midnight blue that's nearly black. Soft, with a bit of body and slight drape, matte finish, thin, medium light weight pure silk. Back and front are just the same. Slightly slubby texture; not at all sleek or shiny.  Tags and fringe portion is no longer available but shown here for your reference; they indicated Handwoven Certified Yuki Pongee Tsumugi 100% Silk. Japan. These pieces were cut from the never-used bolt and they are 15.5" wide (the width it was woven, so your piece will have both selvedges), and 27" long.  Order per piece you'd like; we have quite a few.
