Full Bolt Champagne with Red, Vintage Kimono Silk Crepe from Japan, 14 Yards #PA-22
There are seven designed areas, spread throughout the bolt, and they all coordinate but are different sizes and positions, to appear in the correct places when the long, probably formal, important kimono would be worn. We've photographed most or all of the designed areas. They are like paintings on narrow red panels, with plants, birds, flowers, streams, clouds, leaves. Each 'panel' is about 4" x 1.5", surrounded by other flowers; each one a small masterpiece. This silk itself is exquisite: light weight, supple and flowy, with exceptional drape. It may be a Tango Chirimen, one of the finest silk crepes made in Japan; there is a fine, almost smooth, crepe texture. The color is also magnificent; a whisper of warm golden blush; pale champagne; lustrous and luxurious. Not at all towards cool or gray. 14" wide. This is for the whole 14 yard bolt. It's in excellent condition, never used, 100% Silk from Japan. Order "1" for the bolt. Can you imagine the time, hand work and skill that went into making this bolt? Exceptional.
