Stylized waves throughout, woven in several different jacquard techniques, adding even more life and movement to this liquid drape, stunning silk. It seems to us like some type of higher end crepe? Mid-lightweight, lustrous, supple, soft, smooth and flowy. No body, lots of drape. The reverse is the same color and the 'waves' look slightly different. These were pieces from a dis-assembled Japanese kimono, probably from the 1980's. This silk is in excellent condition. Sold per 14" x 61" piece. 100% Silk. Japan. Exquisite.
