Sheets of paper with lush, beautiful art depicting traditional Japanese flowers and designs in bright colors, branches of full bloom cherry blossoms in front of them, and a deep indigo background. The gorgeous, print is perfectly executed and very detailed. It celebrates many beauties of Japan. There is an overall jacquard on the base silk, with tiny speckles that add a bit of glisten and texture. This is probably a Tango Chirimen Crepe; it's very fine silk with a perfect, concise print full of life and color, metallic gold accents, a subtle crepe finish you can see and feel on the front and back, and a lustre that Tango Chirimen crepe is famous for.  Drapey, lightweight 100% silk is luxurious, supple, flowy and soft. Vintage pure silk from its former life as parts of a kimono, in excellent condition. Japan.
