Three Soft Purples Tiny Floral 'Calico' Print Vintage Kimono Silk from Japan By the Yard #850

Supple, drapey, light, smooth and flowy silk from Japan. Two purples, the lighter one almost towards peachy-pink, make up the background and the flowers, and there are also darker purple, subtle, thin, short squiggles that seem to mimic the look of pebbly textured crepe. But this silk is smooth, not textured at all. It's as drapey and supple as crepe, so indeed may be some type of a crepe weave? No body, sheen or crispness.  The contrast is intentionally low and soft; the colors calmly blend a bit, visually, in our opinion. 14" wide and sold by the full yard; we'll cut yours in one piece from the never-used, excellent condition, vintage bolt.  100% Silk.
