Stones from Japan, Cotton/Linen Print, Bookhou / Kokka, 43" Wide, Per Yard, #1A Plum
Part of a new, special collaboration called Pathway, from multi-disciplinary artist Arounna Khounnoraj and Japanese fabric manufacturer Kokka. This print is a mid-lightweight 'sheeting' plain-weave blend of 85% Cotton/15% Linen. It's soft, fairly smooth but with a bit of texture, breathable, easy to work with, durable. More supple than stiff, beautiful quality. Great for apparel, home dec, bedding. This print is called Stones. We have the same fabric in other prints/colorways as well.
Cotton 85%, Linen 15%. Width 43". Repeat about 23". New not vintage, from Japan. Sold per yard.
Care: Soon we'll test with machine wash and dry warm. We assume it will shrink, soften and wrinkle a bit. Stay tuned and/or do your own testing on a swatch prior to sewing. Kokka is a quality company and we've always had excellent results with any of their fabrics, even without much laundry-room pampering :)
