Set of Three Pieces, Snowstorm on Pale Gold Satin/Crepe Vintage Kimono Silk from Japan, 14" x 18" , 6" x 42" #4680

Very lustrous and soft, this silk satin has the most lovely shade of pale gold background and snowflakes. It seems to glow from within, in soft gold.  Groups of trees are blues, purples, greens and bronze. This is a higher end kimono silk that was most likely hand dyed by a skilled silk artist decades ago, in Japan. Satin on the front has medium shine; not too-too slick.  The back reveals the crepe weave. Drapey, flowy, supple, lustrous, thin and light, these pieces were once part of a kimono. They're in excellent condition but may have an occasional notch/tiny snip on the selvedge from their former life. Exceptional 100% Silk. Japan.
