So drapey! This sueded silk charmeuse has less shine than typical satin; the front is sueded so that the exceptional drape remains but the intense shine is more subdued. It's not as slippery, and easier to control and sew than both-sides-slippery satin. Extremely supple and flowy, 19mm thick so mid-weight for silk, luxurious, heavenly. 100% Silk. The drape and the way this silk feels on your skin is heavenly. True bright white. Dry cleaning is recommended to preserve lustre, texture and color. New not vintage.
