African Turquoise is the trade name for a type of natural jasper gemstone from Africa. The coloration and matrix structure is very similar to turquoise. These beads are rated AA quality - they're rich, smooth and lustrous with a bit of shine. Base colors range from deep turquoise to light jade green, with matrix tones of rich chocolate, blacks and near-blacks. 6mm diameter, a bit less than 1/4". The hole is about 1mm.  Sold per 15" strand of about 66 beads.
