SALE, Fuchsia Essence Button from Danforth Pewter, 13/16" #FJ-157

Solid pewter with shiny, slightly sparkly fuchsia. There's a hole in the center; look closely and you can see the shank through it. So when sewn, you might see your thread a bit, peeking through to the front of the button. See photos with our strip of yellow paper.  Shank opening is around 2mm. These buttons were handcrafted in Middlebury, Vermont, from Pewter, a lead-free alloy of tin, copper and antimony.  Irregular shape. Wonderful and unusual.  Danforth Pewter.   Sold per button.
