Orange, white and yellow slubby silk plaid from Japan, hand woven so no two little ikat shapes will exactly match. Some have a few threads of raisin tones. Some look almost like the letter S; those are probably the weaver's little birds. There are quite a few slubs and lots of lustrous, soft bumpy texture. This silk is thin and light, we're quite sure handwoven, with no shine. A true ikat, both sides are just the same.  14" wide and sold by the full yard; we'll cut yours in one piece from the never-used, excellent condition, vintage bolt. 100% Silk. Japan.
