Hilltop Trees Vintage Meisen Kimono Silk Piece, 13.5" x 60" from Japan #ZP-45

Many colors, some feathered together; black, dijon golds, reds, pinks. The background is warm, pale off-white/ivory.  An artisan created, vintage treasure with rolling hills and trees in bloom.  A true ikat, both sides are just the same, and it has Meisen's desirable, traditional blur. One selvedge is purple. Thin and light, it's a bit sleek and a bit crisp, with no shine. This silk is from a 1930's-50's kimono, and your piece may have a few inches of small holes from stitch-removal near one edge, per the photo with the chopstick, but otherwise it's in quite good condition.  Sold per 13.5" x 60" piece. 100% Silk.
