Lush leaves in off-white, green, red, grays, golden olive and peach, on a deep green background.  An artisan created, vintage treasure, it is a true ikat, so both sides are just the same.  It has Meisen's desirable, traditional blur. One selvedge is purple, the other is turquoise and off-white. Thin and light, it's a bit sleek and a bit crisp, with no shine. This silk is from a 1930's-50's kimono, and is in quite good condition.  Sold per 13.5" x 41" piece. 100% Silk. Japan.
