Crinkly chirimen silk, blended, muted colors in the batik, on purplish dusty rose. True batik, the images are a 'karabana' garden, an imaginary flower beloved in both China and Japan. The chirimen texture is quite pronounced, and creates a pattern almost like a dimensional honeycomb.  Liquid drape, dry hand, no shine, medium-light weight, flowy and supple.
