The warp is turquoise, the weft is black, and the result is dark twilight turquoise blue, not at all what we call navy. Lots of black slubs, this mostly wool kimono fabric was probably designed for men's winter kimono; at 15" wide it's an inch wider than most kimono fabrics. Soft for wool, thin and medium-light, with a bit of body, very little drape and no sheen. Back and front are just the same. 96% wool, 4% nylon for softness. 15" wide and sold by the full yard, we'll cut yours in one continuous piece from the never used, excellent condition vintage bolt.
