Burgundy All-Shibori Vintage Kimono Silk from Japan, 14" x 41" Piece, #ZP-34

Burgundy with white, true shibori silk.  It's soft, drapey, thin, supple, light and flowy. The shibori texture is slight; it's basically smooth.  These pieces were once part of a kimono, probably 1970's or so.  They're in great condition and seem newly cleaned. True hand-dyed shibori; you can even see occasionally where one tiny shibori square was missed.  This silk is so light that each piece only weighs 1.4 ounces. 100% soft, supple silk. Japan.
