Hand-painted and translucent, the browns change color in the light, and the gold sparkles.  1-1/8" diameter, slightly domed, and about 1/4" thick with the shank. Shank opening is around 1.75mm. 

Lacy Glass buttons are Czech Glass buttons that Susan has reverse-painted in such a way that from the front, light reflects back through the color. It was a technique used in the 1800's by the Czech Republic.  Each one is hand-painted individually in Susan's California studio, even the tiniest details. They are so beautiful.
