Plum Drapey Vintage Kimono Silk Crepe Komon from Japan By the Yard #PA-15

Plum and darker plum, with overall design of sooo tiny dots in the print, so it looks solid or lightly textured, but it's a smooth crepe. Almost like fingerprints, the design is nested arches, low in contrast as you can see, and all done with dots. This silk is thin, light, supple, flowy, soft and drapey. The back is solid, with no dots, in the slightly lighter plum color. The crepe texture is subtle; this silk is quite smooth. We were told there may be a few small spots but we haven't found them; if we do we'll add photos.  14" wide and sold by the full yard, we'll cut yours in one piece from the vintage bolt. Possibly rare? We've seen lots of komon dot prints but never a solid looking one like this. It's stunning. 100% Silk. Japan.
