Vintage silk with the colorful true Bingata artwork with white outlines and blends of blues, red, golds, purples and green on a background of warm brown ochre. Traditional drapey, lightweight, supple and flowy Chirimen has a slightly pebbly texture, a dry hand and no sheen.  Excellent condition, carefully stored, unused; we believe this to be a true Bingata, hand painted with stencils.  29" repeat. 14.5" wide and sold by the full yard; we'll cut yours in one piece from the excellent condition vintage bolt. The ochre-brown background is consistent and even; no lighter or darker areas. 100% Silk. Japan.
