Only 11 left!

Off-white/cream, a bit warm, almost ivory.   It looks and drapes like silk, but we think it may be partly wool, too.  It's not as smooth or soft as pure silk would be, bit it has silk's suppleness.  There's a fine rib in the weave across the width, much like a faille. There are a couple of places with light brown threads or slubs in the weave; they may be signs of this fabric being handwoven. It's mid-lightweight, supple and thin, but slightly thicker than pure silk would probably be. Back and front are just the same. It's a bit see-through as you can see. We're guessing it may be quite old. There are a few minor age spots but generally it's in excellent condition. 14" wide and sold by the full yard - we'll cut yours in a continuous piece. Vintage, we think unused, fabric from Japan.
