Mid-weight silk probably intended for a men's kimono ensemble including pants and kimono. Mid-weight, thin, soft, supple and textured with mostly black slubs, it's elegant and lustrous. (To me, breathtaking.) It has a bit of body, a slight sheen and no drape. Back and front are just the same. Sold by the full yard and we'll cut yours in a continuous piece from the vintage, excellent condition, very dark midnight/mysterious blue-black bolt. Photographs don't really do it; you have to be there with it.  15.25" wide. 100% Silk.  Japan. Stunning.
