Slubby Copper Tsumugi Vintage Kimono Silk from Japan By the Yard #410

Copper and vermillion tones cross-woven with black weft, in some lights has some purple-mauve show up, too.  Soft Tsumugi hand-woven, lightweight, slubby-textured, thin, with a bit of drape and a bit of body, very little sheen and slight crispness. The label reads pure silk Tsumugi and it's probably raw silk.  14" wide and sold by the full yard; we'll cut yours in one piece from the never-used, excellent condition, probably handwoven and one of a kind, vintage bolt. The color is consistent and lustrous, with no faded, darker or grayish areas. 100% Silk. Japan. Gorgeous.
