Rainbow Indigo Rustic Slubby Stripe Ikat Vintage Kimono Silk from Japan By the Yard, #145

Navy and black create a dark indigo color.  Hazy, blended, horizontal, somewhat abstract and random stripes in pinks, purples, greenish tones and yellows. They all blend on the edges with blue-black. There are some dark blackish indigo blurry dappled ovals that appear now and then, in the weave. This silk is full of texture, slubs and rustic beauty, Thin and light, with no sheen, a bit of suppleness and pretty much no drape. It's not at all smooth or sleek.  A true ikat, both sides are just the same.  The blue is quite dark, darker than many of the photos. 14" wide and sold by the full yard; we'll cut yours in one piece from the never-used bolt. 100% Silk.
