Rainbow Indigo Rustic Slubby Stripe Ikat Vintage Kimono Silk from Japan By the Yard, #145

Navy and black create a dark indigo color.  Hazy, blended, horizontal, somewhat abstract and random stripes in pinks, purples, greenish tones and yellows. They all blend on the edges with blue-black. There are some dark, blackish-indigo blurry dappled ovals that appear now and then, in the weave. This silk is full of texture, slubs and rustic beauty, Thin and light, with no sheen, a bit of suppleness and pretty much no drape. It's not at all smooth or sleek.  A true ikat, both sides are just the same.  The blue is quite dark, darker than many of the photos. 14" wide and sold by the full yard; we'll cut yours in one piece from the never-used bolt. 100% Silk.
