Purple Diamond Windows Vintage Kimono Silk Crepe from Japan, Four Skinny Pieces #7751

These are pieces from a de-constructed old kimono from Japan. Pure silk with liquid drape, lightweight, supple and flowy. The base jacquard adds dimension, sheen and light-play. The large print is off-white, a couple of grays, metallic gold, bright yellow and bright orange. We think the gray, young tree(?) images were hand painted; we don't see two that exactly match. This silk has a feeling of being possibly older than vintage.  The crepe texture is subtle.  100% Silk. Japan.

This is for all four skinny pieces. The full print is not on any of these pieces- the print is too wide to fit. Most of the diamonds on these pieces aren't complete.  

Two pieces are 6" x 53", one is 6" x 33", one is 6" x 66".  All for $12.00
