Faux Silk Shibori, Kimono Fabric from Japan, Light, Thin and Supple, By the Yard # 523

Dark brown, close to black, on white, this faux shibori is thin, light, flowy and supple. A great silk substitute, it's 100% Polyester, we think fairly new; maybe not vintage.  Soft and drapey but not as much as silk of course. It's not textured like real shibori would be but does have a bit of a crepe hand-feel, but fairly smooth, with no shine. We think it's factory made, machine washable and dryable poly crepe. 14" wide and sold by the full yard; we'll cut yours in one piece from the never-used bolt. In like new condition, 100% Polyester.
