Autumnal Hand Painted Stripes /Blossoms Vintage Kimono Silk Jacquard From Japan By the Yard #333

Warm caramel and not-quite bright orange alternate in wide hand-painted stripes using Bokashi blending by hand. The base silk has jacquard flowers and swirls, some are also hand-painted/dyed but some, including all those in the caramel stripes, are only the glisten of the jacquard. Liquid drape, soft, smooth and flowy, extremely supple. The back is similar but with less detail in the flowers. There is subtle sheen from the jacquard, small areas of metallic silver highlights on the blossoms, and a bit of sheen from the base silk weave. 14" wide and sold by the full yard, we'll cut yours in one piece from the excellent condition probably 1960's bolt. 100% Silk.
