Gold/Bronze Hand-Painted Czech Glass Button by Susan Clarke 1-1/8" #SC-1519-I

Hand-painted, iridescent, gleaming and translucent, with bronze-gold tones and nearly-blacks. 1-1/8" diameter, slightly domed, and about 1/4" thick with the shank. Shank opening is around 1.75mm. 

Lacy Glass buttons are Czech Glass buttons that Susan has reverse-painted in such a way that from the front, light reflects back through the color. It was a technique used in the 1800's by the Czech Republic.  Each one is hand-painted individually in Susan's California studio, even the tiniest details. They are so beautiful.
