Crinkly chirimen silk, blended, muted colors in the batik, on dusty rose. True batik, the images are a 'karabana' garden, an imaginary flower from China and also beloved in Japan. The chirimen texture is quite pronounced, and creates a pattern almost like a dimensional honeycomb, new to us and so lovely.  Liquid drape, dry hand, no shine, medium-light weight, flowy and supple. Gorgeous! 14" wide and sold by the full yard, we'll cut yours in one piece from the vintage, beautiful condition bolt. 100% Silk. Japan.
