Various blues woven with lots of black, and an overall rectangular grid pattern; every other block is more or less black and a slightly different weave, creating light-play and hid and seek. This silk is thin and light, with a subtle slubby texture. Both sides are the same. Very supple and soft, with a bit of drape and no shine. These pieces are from a dis-assembled kimono, in excellent condition, probably 1980's. 100% Silk. Japan. Sold per piece. Rare gorgeous color.
