Four Mini Bolts of Vintage Kimono Lining Silk from Japan 4+Yards Each, Still Folded/Tied #235
The red-orange and the lilace ones are Bokashi, white with hand air brushed color in certain areas to show when the kimono is worn, usually at the lower inside hem and cuffs, called Hakkake. The others look to be standard, all one solid color. All are thin, light weight, soft 14" wide silk from Japan. They are all smooth and finely woven, but different weaves from different mills and different times; it's a mix. We haven't opened any of them, and the folded, labeled, thread-tied bolts weigh about 17 ounces total. These are generally 4.3 yards, or 4 metres, each. As for condition, it's hard to tell but we do see some spots on the lilac bokashi one. (But we can't see inside, of course). 100% Silk. Never used, labels still intact, vintage but exact age unknown. Japan. Order "1" for all four mini bolts.
