Remnant 7/8 Yard Green / Black Tsumugi Textured Vintage Kimono Silk from Japan, #101

Medium-light green and black combine to look sage, or at least that's how we see it, in this vintage kimono silk from Japan. There are lots of black slubs and also some green ones, for even more depth and beauty. Both sides are just the same in this soft, thin, quite textured, lightweight true Tsumugi silk. It has a soft sheen, a bit of body and not much drape. Exceptional 100% Silk from Japan, most likely hand woven, probably 1960's or 70's. This remnant is 14" wide and about 31" long, the end of the never used, excellent condition vintage bolt.
