Full BOLT of Vintage Furisode Kimono Silk Crepe/Shibori, Floral from Japan #156

Liquid drape glowing pale gold and white crepe.  The designed areas have large true Shibori in light green, gold and orange, and detailed hand painted flowers. The soft gold in the base silk has a semi-shiny jacquard of undulating waves or wispy clouds...? It was designed and created specifically so that the kimono, probably Furisode, would be dynamic when worn, showcasing the artwork beautifully in certain areas on the kimono with solid silk in between. This bolt has 10 designed areas, in various sizes from about 7" x 7", up to the entire 14" width and 37" high, quite dramatic. They are spaced from less than a yard apart to a few yards apart, with solid pale gold in between.  No two of the flower areas are the same but they all coordinate. Liquid drape crepe has a beautiful texture, hand, color and drape. It's barely textured; a fine fine crepe weave.  Pure silk, light, flowy, very supple and drapey. 14" wide and about 13.75 yards long. There are spots and wrinkles in about the first yard, which was on the outside of the roll for how ever many years - the rest of the bolt seems in beautiful condition from what we noticed.  You'll get the whole bolt. 100% Silk from Japan.
